Meera Norris

Meera is a life long nationally and internationally exhibited artist and poetess who is also a public health equity professional living in Phoenix Arizona. Meera holds a Masters in Global Public Health from University of Arizona with over 15 years serving communities facing health inequities . Meera uses mixed mediums to narrate her faith, love, identity, and current social affairs through paintings that invite the viewer into her colorful visions. Specializing in portraits that share the joy and strength of international history and complexity of the subjects narratives and self determination. Meera also leads art workshops that use her public health education and career to integrate healing and self empowerment into classes she provides for youth , adults and health and social services providers.
