Kristen Roskob is an award-winning photo-realistic portrait artist who lives southeast of Phoenix, Arizona. She loves capturing the expression and emotion of living beings. She is constantly inspired by fellow artists, photographers, and illustrators, as well as her own family.
She is re-emerging into the art world following a career in web design and development. She became involved in art again after her chronic pain conditions became too much to manage the high-stress work of IT Consulting.
For the first time in her life, she truly feels like she’s doing what she was always meant to do. That drives her to continue pushing and evolving her art while teaching and being an inspiration to others.
She plans to create bigger and more hyper-realistic work in the future using pastels and oils. She strives to teach others her unique processes and ways of observation. Her main goal is to inspire others to create and explore the healing qualities that art provides.
